    What repeats, and what doesn't

Your reminders repeat automatically. Once a birthday is saved, Daymark reminds you about it every year, for as long as it's in your account.

Purchases don't repeat automatically. Daymark never charges your card or ships a gift you haven't approved for that occasion. A saved gift preference is a suggestion we have ready for you, not a standing order.

    What the reminder email includes

    • Who and what: the person, the occasion and the date.
    • The current status: not scheduled yet, already booked, or skipped.
    • Their usual gift, so you're approving a plan instead of starting from scratch.
    • One-click Send and Skip links. Send opens a confirmation page first, so nothing is charged by accident.

Why two weeks is the right lead time

A day-of notification is a reminder that you're already late. Fourteen days gives you time to decide, change the gift, update an address, and still have it arrive in the window before the date.

If you'd rather not think about it at all, schedule the gift as soon as you add the date—up to 365 days ahead. The reminder will then simply confirm it's handled.

Set up a year of occasions in a few minutes

Start with the five people you'd most hate to forget—usually a partner, parents, siblings and a best friend. Add birthdays first, then anniversaries and the holidays you celebrate together, like Mother's Day, Father's Day or Christmas.

Daymark is free to use, with no subscription. You only pay for the gifts you choose to send.
